1. Initial meeting and Brief.
The first thing we will do is meet you on site for a briefing, to find out what you would like in your new garden, your tastes, preferences, needs and of course dislikes. It is always helpful if you have a clear idea of your basic requirements and your own budget for the project. |
2. Garden Survey
An accurate survey of the existing garden is required before any design work can take place. This includes checking the soil type, prevailing wind, measurements, drainage, existing features etc. |
3. Concept Plan/Masterplan
This is where the main structure or "body" of the garden is designed. Shape, flow, dimensions and hardscaping choices are all presented and decided upon. Moodboards , drawings and 3D computer graphics are all provided to help you to visualise your garden. The key theme throughout the process is that it is a collaborative partnership between client and designer. |
4. Technical Specs and Details
These technical drawings allow the landscaper to quote accurately for the project. Be it steps, retaining walls, pergolas etc each detail is fine tuned so the design is built accurately, to standard, and with no surprises. |
5. Planting Plans and Supply Here is where the area comes alive and we add flesh to the garden. Detailed planting plans and itemised plant schedules are provided, accompanied by moodboards giving you a real feel of the garden to be. We work with a series of specialist nurseries and local suppliers to source all the planting needed for your project if required. |
